2018Chicken Mix Internal Stir-Fry, A Traditional Chinese Dish | HOme Cooking
Haven’t had this dish for a while, this is one of my mom’s cooking, she will cook this for me whenever she feels like I am low in energy and weak when I was a kid, this is a refilling and replenishing kind of dish.
A lot of Chinese believe that if you eat something similar to your own body part, it will heal and strengthen the part that look alike. To me, this is one of those dish that calls on the memory, I miss it especially when I feel weak and down, the actual function of this dish does not really matter, I draw the strength from the memory of my mom and my childhood. It was damn delicious too of course.

Century eggs, or 100-year egg, or 1000-year egg, is a Chinese preserved egg call 皮蛋 (PiDan). It can be eaten just like that or used in a number of Chinese cuisine and recipes. Although in theory it can be made from any kind of egg, it is usually made with chicken, duck or quail eggs. I would love to see one made with ostrich egg, that would be something.

2018Lumaca Diet Diary Weekly Summary 02/06/2018
Ok, so the title of this entry is weekly summary, why a weekly summary? Because I did not started on my daily diet entry that I should have started last week … And there’s no way I can remember what I ate for a week, so there’s no way I can write the diary retroactively, it’s just not how my brain work … Luckily, I have took some photos of what I ate, so I can at least do a summary.

Food: My Personalize Low Carbs Diet With A Lot Of Exception
Well, one thing I have been doing lately is, going on a low-carbs diet. So that means cutting off everything that’s heavy in carbs like rice, bread, noodles, beer(!!!) and the sort. This has been going on for a couple weeks already actually, I have been mostly doing well with it, although sometimes I can’t fight the urge for a bowl of instant noodles, but I am ok with that, I am not going to force my self on a strict strict diet, it’s more like being more conscious with what I am eating, after all, any cutting back on carbs and increase in exercise is a success, small steps counts.
