2019This is part 2 of the art and architecture collection of the Grand Palace. Like I said, I have so many. The Grand Palace is so magnificent that I took so many photos, I have so many that there’s no way I can finish processing them. It’s too bad that we are not allowed to take photos of the interior, I would have even more if that was allowed. Hope you enjoy these photos~

2019From Seattle To Thailand, To Malaysia, And Back To Thailand, A Photo Journey Part 7
Finally, we are going to the Grand Palace, after killing off some times at the flower market, which turn out to be quite an interesting place to visit, it was worth a trip.
The Grand Palace, in the heart of Bangkok, a historical temple, a landmark, also a checkpoint type of a place that’s been visited to dire by tourist from all over the world.
From what I have read, the place is going to be busy, crowded, hot, humid and chaotic. Some writers actually suggested that it is not worth a trip. But hey, you know what? I haven’t been there, and you can’t judge a place before you actually visit it and see it for your self. Crowded and busy it may be, it is still one of the most historical and significant architectural locations in Thailand, I have to see it for my self.

The flower market was not in my original plan, I mean, there’s so much to see, so why waste time on a flower market right? My goal that day is to see the Grand Palace and its surrounding. The problem? I got up too early (blaming jetlag here) and realized they are not open yet when I was ready. But I don’t want to sit around waiting for them to open, so I decide to use these extra time to visit the flower market.

Jok Prince, I have known about this place from my research and reading before arriving Thailand, and I wonder, how is a shop selling one of the most humble dishes in the world, the lowly porridge or congee, can be so well known, I mean like internationally well known. So I must try them, and they are not too far from the hotel, so in just a couple minute of walk, I was there, to find out what this porridge is all about.
