2018From Seattle To Thailand, To Malaysia, And Back To Thailand, A Photo Journey
Flying From Seattle To Bangkok, The beginning of a journey
It‘s a trip to Thailand! It’s a trip to Thailand! Indeed it was, It was very last minute as well, at first it was just going to Malaysia, which is my hometown, to take care of some business, but Thailand was added to it at the very last moment, maybe like a week before take off, it really is a why not thing, and I never been to Thailand, and I have always wanted to see Thailand, so, it makes sense. All airfare has to be changed, abruptly, and I have to figure out logistic and logging in a hurry, it’s a hustle, but it’s also super exciting, come on, its Thailand, how can you not be excited??
The first trip to anywhere is always the airport, and Seattle International Airport is busy as usual, people are going in and out of the country every single second. We are on our way to Thailand and Malaysia; this is the beginning of the journey.
One of the complete meals on the plane, a steak dinner, well, at least I think it is dinner. To me, steak on a flight is always good, especially those of Asiana Airline, so if one the option is steak, I will always go for it.
One of the signature item on Asiana flight is their bibimbap, and of all the flight I have been with Asiana, I have never had the chance to try it, because it is always out before it reach me due to its popularity. This is actually the first time I get to have the bibimbap, I guess there’s a benefit having a pretty front seat.
Does the bibimbap taste good? Duh, It’s airline food, what do you expect? But because of how rare it is, I will have to say it is the best tasting bibimbap of it all, on 20,000 feet.
A big sign telling you where to go during our transit at Incheon international airport. If you are still going to the wrong place after seeing this big freaking green sign, dude, maybe you should rethink that solo world travel plan of yours .…
Joke aside, seriously, this is one awesome sign, no?
If you use either Asiana or Korean Air, and your destination is somewhere in the east, most likely, you will transit through Incheon. I love transiting through here; they have one of the best system for transit, food, eat, drink, rest and even entertainment, they have basically think of everything a traveler would need before their next destination. I can stay here a week if I have to. Key: if I have to.
Forget about the marshmallow man, lets get freak out by this gigantic bear ... head ... instead .… well, to be fair, It really is cute and fluffy and, did I said freakishly gigantic? Though, kids love them; I do to, and I actually help taken photos for a couple families with the bear. Me? Nah, pass.
A view outside of Incheon International Airport at night.
Right before taking off. One reason I like Asiana is because they are one of the most comfortable flights to fly the long hauls.
Hungry after landing and custom, even though I did eat a lot on the flight, perhaps its the long line while going through custom. So the first thing we do after clearing custom,is looking for food and I found this place.
I am not sure if it’s because I am hungry, but the potato chicken curry is awesome, fill me up and warm me right up; air conditioning at the airport is quite cold, and we haven’t have a chance to step out to the tropical humid heat yet.
